Orbit builds its shortcut list from the controls available on the page. Global shortcuts are always registered. Project and component shortcuts appear only while the relevant interface is open.

Available shortcuts

On a project page, these shortcuts are also registered: Some menus add their own shortcut while mounted. For example, Alt + S opens a selection menu when that component is available. Open shortcut help to see the exact live list for your current page.
Ctrl+K is currently wired to the same help modal as ? and /, rather than a separate command palette — if you’re expecting a distinct “jump to anything” command palette bound to Ctrl+K, that doesn’t exist yet; it just opens the shortcuts list.
Shortcuts use Ctrl and Alt literally, on every platform — there is currently no Cmd-based equivalent on macOS. Pressing Cmd+K on a Mac does not trigger anything; you need the physical Ctrl key.

The shortcuts help modal

Press ? or / anywhere to open a searchable list of the shortcuts currently registered, grouped by category, with each key combination shown as a keycap-style badge. Use ↑/↓ to move through the list, Enter to run the highlighted shortcut, and Esc to close it.

When shortcuts don’t fire

Shortcuts are suppressed while your focus is inside a text input, a text area, or any editable content area — so typing p while writing an issue description won’t send you to the Projects page. Esc is the one exception: it always fires, even while you’re typing.
